Nivi Chemicals & Pharma is located at 9/2, Neelikonampalayam. It’s a plain enough spot and we don’t have any large signs or bright lights to mark the place. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which suits the way we work. We have a basic setup inside where we deal with all the daily chemical and pharma tasks that come across our desks. It’s just a regular building with enough space for our gear and a corner for the paperwork. We never really went in for the fancy corporate office style. It’s more of a place where you just get your hands dirty and everyone knows their job. Neelikonampalayam is a good area to be in because it’s not right in the middle of the city noise but still close enough to get things done. Most of our day is spent looking at the inventory and making sure the packing is right. Since we’re a small team, we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute you’re in the back with the boxes and the next you’re on the phone. It’s just a practical way of doing things. The building at 9/2 has been our home for a long time now. We don’t bother with mission statements or any of that marketing talk. We just show up, do the work, and go home when it’s finished. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way, just keeping things simple and honest each day as we handle our orders.
