Nehru Urology Hospital

Nehru Urology Hospital is situated on 3rd Street in Bharathi Colony, right in the Peelamedu area. It is a specific kind of place where we mostly deal with urology issues. The street itself is not too wide, so you have to keep an eye out for the sign when you are driving down Peelamedu or you might miss the turn. It is a plain-looking building, nothing too flashy on the outside, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We have a few rooms for patients and a waiting area that gets quite full by mid-morning with people reading old magazines. Most of the people who come here are from the local colony or the nearby parts of the city. We spend our days dealing with appointments and thick paper files. The staff is used to the routine of checking people in and getting them to see the doctor. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit loud and rattles, but it keeps the place cool during the hotter months when the sun hits the front of the building. There are a few trees outside on 3rd Street that give a bit of shade for the cars. We don't have a giant cafeteria or anything like that, just a small water cooler in the corner. The floors are white tile and we spend a lot of time mopping them because of the mud during the rainy season. It is a quiet street for the most part, except for the occasional delivery truck or neighbors moving about.
