We are located at 86/8E Thiru Vi Ka Nager in the Jothipuram area of Coimbatore. It’s a decent spot in a city that’s known for its industry. Our office here for Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd is where we handle the local engineering and service needs. Coimbatore has a certain way of doing things—work hard and don't make a big deal about it—and we try to stick to that. We spend our days looking over technical specs and talking to clients about their machinery. It’s not the kind of work that gets you on the news, but it keeps things running. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It has desks, some old computers, and a lot of technical manuals. We don't use any of that fancy corporate speak you hear in the big cities. We just tell people what the situation is. If a project is going to take three weeks, we say it’ll take three weeks. Sometimes the traffic in Jothipuram makes us late for meetings, but we always make it eventually. The people here are straightforward, and we like it that way. We've been in this building for some time and we've got a good routine going. We have lunch together most days and talk about normal things, not just work. It's a very human way to spend the day. We are just a bunch of people trying to do a solid job.
