Womens Centre Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. is over at 146 B on Mettupalayam Road in Coimbatore. We are pretty close to the New Bus Stand, so there is always a lot of activity and traffic outside our gates. Inside, it’s a different story. We try to keep things as calm as possible for the women and families who come here for care. It’s a hospital, so you’ll see nurses in their uniforms and doctors walking fast down the halls between appointments. We have several floors and the lift is usually busy with people going up to see new babies or visiting relatives. It’s not a luxury hotel; it’s a medical facility where things are clean but basic. We have rows of plastic chairs for the husbands to sit in while they wait for their wives. The smell of disinfectant is everywhere, which is just how it should be in a place like this. We’ve been part of the Coimbatore community for years now. The staff here works long shifts, and you can see it in their eyes sometimes at the end of the day, but they stay on their feet. We don’t have a big PR department writing fancy stories about us. We just handle the births, the checkups, and the surgeries that come through the door every single day. It’s a lot of responsibility and we take it seriously, even if the walls are a bit plain and the canteen food is just okay.
