Mesh Engineering

Our place is over at 1/22 Saravanam Theam on Marubamuar Road in Thudiyalur. It is a busy part of town and we have been tucked away here doing our engineering work for some time. Inside, you will find machines running and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We handle a lot of different metal tasks, mostly focusing on whatever the local guys need for their projects. Sometimes the drawings we get are a bit rough, so we have to sit down and scratch our heads to figure out the best way to cut the parts. It is a small team and everyone knows their job, whether it is running the lathe or just cleaning up the shavings at the end of the day. The traffic on Marubamuar Road can be a bit much in the mornings, so we try to get the heavy loading done early. We don't spend much time on computers or anything like that. Most of the work happens right there on the shop floor with the tools in our hands. People from around Thudiyalur know where we are, and they usually just drop in to see how things are coming along. It gets hot under the roof in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. There is always something to weld or a part that needs a bit more grinding to fit just right.
