Malar Hospital

The hospital is located at No 18 in the Kavundampalayampeons Colony area of Coimbatore. It’s a part of town that has grown a lot, but the colony itself still feels like a community. The building is a decent size, though it’s not one of those massive medical complexes you see in the city center. We have a few different wards and the hallways are usually busy with nurses carrying clipboards and families bringing in food for their relatives. The floors are made of that grey stone that stays relatively cool, which is good because Coimbatore can get pretty stifling in the middle of the day. Our windows look out onto the street, and you can see the local vendors setting up their stalls every morning. The staff here stays busy, and sometimes the shifts are long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don't have a fancy cafeteria, just a small area where people can sit and have a quick bite. The equipment we use is reliable, and we keep it well-maintained even if it’s not the newest stuff on the market. It’s just a regular hospital where people from the colony and the surrounding areas come when they need medical attention. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when things get a little hectic on Monday mornings. It’s a practical place, focused on getting people back on their feet so they can go home to their families.
