M.N. Auto Products (P) Ltd

Our factory is located out on Thadagam Road in Somaiyampalayam Village. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it out here in Kanuvai. We make auto products, mostly small parts that go into bigger machines. The building is 5/644-C, and it’s been standing for quite some time. We have a crew of local guys who have been with us for years. It’s a lot of metalwork and machine sounds all day long. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets pretty bad, so we keep the big doors open for some air. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere. We wear grease-stained clothes and spend most of our time on the shop floor. My uncle started this place when there wasn't much else around here. Now there’s more traffic on Thadagam Road, but the village feel is still there. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find us because they’ve been buying from us for a decade or more. We have piles of scrap in the corner and machines that need constant oiling to keep from seizing up. It’s a messy business but it’s ours. We handle everything from the raw material coming in to the final packing and loading. It’s hard to stay organized when things are busy, but we get the orders out eventually. Just a regular bunch of guys making parts and trying to do right by the job.
