Lucky Hypermarket

84, Palaniappan Street is where you can find us. We’ve been at this spot in Nadimuthu Nagar for a while now. The sign out front says Lucky Hypermarket in big letters so you won’t miss it. It’s a busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing around. We open the shutters early. Most days it’s just the usual routine of checking what’s left on the shelves and seeing what needs to be moved around. The space isn’t huge but we try to keep it organized enough so people can find what they need without asking too many questions. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit, which makes the neighbors annoyed, but that’s just how it goes here. We get a lot of people walking in from the nearby houses. It gets a little dusty because of the traffic on Palaniappan Street, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We don’t really do much fancy stuff. We just stay open until late and make sure the lights are working. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it works for us. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets crowded on the weekends. We have a small desk near the back where we keep the books. It’s mostly just us doing our thing every day. If you’re walking through Nadimuthu Nagar, you’ll see us right there at number 84.
