Logi-Tech Controls

Our place is at 201 in the Texspares Tower, right on Cox Street. It’s near the Somasundaram Mill Road, so there’s a lot of history in this part of town. The tower itself houses a few different businesses, but we’ve been in unit 19 and 20 for a while. We work on control systems, which involves a lot of wiring and checking panels. The office has that specific smell of solder and warm electronics that you get in places like this. We have a few big worktables where we assemble things, and there are always blueprints or diagrams pinned up on the walls. It’s not the quietest office because there is usually some testing going on or someone is using a drill. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep going. The view from the window isn't much, just the street and other buildings, but it’s nice to see the activity outside. Parking around Cox Street can be a real pain, so most of us try to get here early to snag a spot. The building is a bit older, so the corridors are narrow and the lighting isn't always the brightest. We’ve got a couple of cupboards full of old parts that we might need one day, though they mostly just take up space. It’s a practical environment for people who like to build and fix things. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule.
