Lalithaa Hospital

Cross Cut Road in Gandhipuram is one of those places that never really sleeps. Lalithaa Hospital is located right at No. 828 A, and if you know this area, you know how hard it can be to find a spot to park your scooter. We’ve been here for a while and the building has its own little quirks, like the way the door creaks if you don't push it just right. The staff is mostly local people who take the box or walk in from the nearby streets. We spend a lot of time behind the counter or walking through the halls. It’s a lot of "hello" and "how are you feeling" all day long. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days in Gandhipuram, you can still feel the heat coming off the pavement outside. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone who needs it. There isn't any fancy art on the walls, just some old posters about health and some calendars from last year. We don't spend money on big ads because everyone in the neighborhood already knows where we are. It’s a practical place for practical people. When the sun goes down, the lights on Cross Cut Road get bright, and we’re usually still inside finishing up the last bits of work for the day. It’s just our daily life here at the hospital, and we are used to the noise and the crowd.
