Lakshmi X Ray Clinic & Laboratory

This lab and X-ray spot is located at No. 304 on VH Road, right near where the Sengupta Shwwp is in the Ramnagar area. We have been operating as Lakshmi Clinic out of these premises, including the space at No. 144, for a good while. It’s got that look of a place that’s seen a lot of use. Some people call us the sainbookta clinic locally, though we just keep the sign simple. The X-ray machine is in the back room, and we have a small counter upfront where people hand over their forms. It can get a bit cramped when three or four families are waiting for their blood tests at the same time. We try to keep things organized with a token system, but sometimes people just crowd around the door anyway. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on getting the reports out on time. VH Road is always packed with traffic, so getting here can take a bit of time during peak hours. We see people from all walks of life coming through. Some are nervous about their tests, others just want to get it over with so they can go to work. We just take the samples, run the machines, and write down the numbers. It’s repetitive work, but it’s necessary for the doctors around here. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning, just ceiling fans.
