Our place is located in Perianaickenpalayam. It’s where all the work happens for Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd. We spend most of our time dealing with machinery and parts. It is a quiet enough area until the machines start up in the morning. We have been here for a long time, so most people in town know where we are. It’s not a complicated setup, just a lot of hard work and making sure things are built right. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep at it. We make stuff for the textile industry mostly. It involves a lot of metal and grease and keeping the floor clean is a constant battle. Some of the guys have been working here for decades. We don't really do big speeches or fancy meetings. Instead, we show up, look at the schedules, and get to the welding or the assembly. The roads around Perianaickenpalayam are usually busy with trucks coming to pick up the finished machines. People here just try to keep the quality decent so things don't break down later. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s what we do every day. Sometimes we have a tea break and just talk about how the week is going. It's a solid place to work if you don't mind getting your hands dirty once in a while. We stay focused on the builds and getting them out the door.
