Down at No. 2/548 C-1 in Ambal Nagar, Malumichampatti, you will find our small office. Karthikeya Associates isn’t a big firm with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we handle different types of associate work and consulting for the local folks. Malumichampatti is an industrial kind of area, so there is always the sound of trucks and factories in the background. Our office has a few desks, some old chairs for visitors, and a lot of steel cupboards filled with records and files. We spend a good part of our day typing out documents or meeting with people who need help with their paperwork. It can get pretty busy in the afternoons when everyone finishes their shift and stops by. We have a ceiling fan that clicks a bit when it's on high, but it keeps the air moving. We’ve been in Ambal Nagar long enough to know the other shop owners on the street. We don’t do a lot of advertising. People just hear about us from their friends or family and show up at the door. It is honest work, and we try to keep things straightforward. There is no complicated jargon here; we just explain things in plain English or the local language. We usually close up once the street lights come on and the traffic starts to thin out for the night. It is just a normal office life.
