We are based over in Ganapathy Post. L G Balakrishnan & Bros Limited has a long history in this part of town. Most people around here just call us LGB. We’ve been a part of the local landscape for a very long time, and you can find us easily enough if you're in the Ganapathy area. We aren't really into the whole modern corporate vibe that you see in the bigger cities. We’re more of a traditional setup where people know each other’s names and have been working together for decades. Our work revolves around chains and automotive parts. It’s steady work that requires a lot of attention to detail and patience. The factory floor is where everything happens, and it’s usually pretty busy from the start of the morning shift. We don't have much use for fancy words or complicated business plans. We just make sure the machines are oiled and the production lines are moving along. The neighborhood has grown up around us over the years, but we still do things the way we always have—honestly and with a lot of hard work. The building itself shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy and serves us well enough for what we need to get done. We’ve seen generations of workers come through these gates. It’s just a regular place where we try to do a good job so the products we send out don’t fail. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making parts.
