Kpm Matriculation Higher Secondary School

If you drive down Pollachi Main Road in Eachanari, you’ll find our school. We’ve been sitting here in Coimbatore for a long time, watching the traffic go by while the kids are in class. It’s a big school, reaching all the way up to higher secondary levels. The morning assembly is always a bit chaotic with everyone trying to get into their lines. We have a mix of younger kids and the older ones who are getting ready for their final exams. The classrooms have high ceilings and those big windows that let in some breeze. It gets noisy during the breaks, obviously. We have a playground out back where the students play football or just run around. The teachers here are a steady group. Most have been around long enough to know the younger siblings of the kids they taught years ago. We don't have many fancy bells and whistles. It’s mostly just desks, chalkboards, and stacks of notebooks. We try to keep the gardens looking okay, though the grass gets a bit dry in the summer. Parents stop by the office often to talk about grades or just to check in. It’s a busy place, especially around 3:30 when the buses arrive. We just try to provide a decent place for the local kids to learn their lessons. It’s a lot of routine, but it works for us.
