We are right in the heart of Coimbatore at 27 and 28 Cowley Brown Road in R S Puram. If you know R S Puram, you know it’s the place to be for almost everything. Kovai Kumaran Hospital is situated on a road that has a lot of history and a lot of activity. We occupy a decent-sized space here. The building has been part of the neighborhood for a while. We spend our days managing the flow of patients coming in from all parts of the city. It’s a busy environment. There is always a nurse running somewhere or a phone ringing at the reception. We don't have fancy lounge areas; we have functional waiting rooms and clean wards. The staff works in shifts, so there is always someone around, even in the middle of the night. Cowley Brown Road can get quite packed with cars, so we are used to the noise of the city. We focus on the practical side of healthcare. We keep the records in order and make sure the pharmacy is stocked up. It’s a lot of coordination between the different departments. We take our breaks when we can, usually grabbing a quick bite from the canteen or a nearby shop. It’s not a shiny corporate hospital with a logo on every pen. It’s just a place where doctors and nurses work together to look after whoever comes through the doors in R S Puram. Everyone here just wants to get the work done right.
