Kiah Academy

We are over here at No 68 U Block in Kovaipudur. Coimbatore is a busy place, but our little corner is usually quite calm. We started Kiah Academy because there weren't many places nearby where kids could just sit and get help with their schoolwork without it being a whole big production. The building itself is pretty basic, just a standard spot where we set up some desks and chairs. Most days, it’s just us and the students going over math problems or science chapters. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. People from the neighborhood know us by now. We don't do anything fancy with decorations or big signs. It’s just about getting the work done. Sometimes parents stop by to chat about how their kids are doing, and we just talk like normal people. We’ve been in this spot for a while and it feels like home. You can see the trees outside the windows, which is nice when you've been staring at a book for two hours. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the last student finishes their work in the evening. There's no corporate office or anything like that, just us here in U Block trying to make things a bit easier for the local families. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. We don't have fancy flyers, just a door that's usually open.
