Kamadhenu Wires

Thadagam Road is one of those long stretches in Coimbatore that feels like it’s always under construction or just busy with trucks. If you keep going toward Somayampalayam, you’ll find us at number 567. Kamadhenu Wires is basically a workshop and a storage space. It’s dusty because of the road and the nature of the work. We deal with wires all day. You can hear the hum of the spools and the sound of metal moving. It’s a very hands-on place. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day, and so is everyone else’s. We don’t have an office with fancy chairs. We have a small area for paperwork and the rest is for the product. The local tea shop nearby is where we all meet up around four o'clock. People in this area know us because we’ve been here at this P.O. box location for quite some time. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. If someone needs wire, they come here, we see what we have, and we get it done. The heat in Coimbatore can be tough in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s a simple, local business. We aren't part of some giant chain. It’s just the crew here on Thadagam Road making sure the orders go out to the local shops.
