Being located right near Shanthi Theatre on Avinashi Road means we see a lot of cars every single day. The shop at 435 is usually full of grease and the sound of tools. We started out small, just doing basic repairs, and now we have a few more guys helping out. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the Peelamedu traffic right outside our front door. Most of the time, the floor is covered in parts from whatever engine we are working on at the moment. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Usually, customers just stand around and chat while we look under the hood. It’s honest work. Sometimes we run out of a specific spare part and have to wait for the delivery guy to fight through the traffic to get here. We keep the tools in old metal chests that have seen better days. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open. We’ve known the neighbors for years, so it feels like a little community here. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. If a car needs fixing, we just get to it. There isn't much more to say about it. We open up early and stay until the last job is done for the day.
