Kalycito Infotech is based in Coimbatore, over at Door No. 24 on Vinayagar Kovil Street. We’re in the Sowripalayam Pirivu area, which is a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs of the city. We are a tech company, so our office is mostly filled with desks, computers, and a lot of tangled cables. It isn't a flashy startup office with beanbags or game rooms. We just have regular chairs and good internet. Most of us are engineers or developers who spend the day working on software and embedded systems. It gets pretty quiet in the afternoons when everyone is focused on their screens. We have a small pantry where we all gather for tea and snacks, which is usually when the most talking happens. We started this place because we liked the work, and we’ve stayed in this neighborhood because it’s convenient for everyone. We don't have a big HR department or complicated policies. If someone has a problem, we just talk it out over lunch. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what everyone else is working on. We just try to write clean code and help our clients solve whatever technical mess they’ve gotten into. It’s a simple, honest way to run a software business without all the usual tech industry hype. We enjoy the work and the people we work with, which is enough for us most days.
