The Coimbatore District Herbal & Tree Growers Association is situated at No. 109 in Siva Nagar, which is over in the Kalapatti area. We aren't a big corporation; we are just an association of people who care about growing herbs and trees in this part of Coimbatore. Our office in Siva Nagar is a quiet place where we meet to discuss things and keep our records. It’s not a fancy building, just a regular spot where you can find some of us most days. Kalapatti has grown a lot lately, but our corner remains fairly calm. We spend a lot of time talking to local growers and figuring out how to manage the various herbal plants we deal with. There’s always a bit of dirt on the floor and some saplings sitting in the corner waiting to be moved. We don't have a professional marketing team or a big budget for ads. We just exist for the growers in the district. Sometimes we have small meetings at No. 109 to talk about the weather or the soil conditions. It’s very much a grassroots thing, nothing polished or corporate about it. We’ve got a lot of files and old books about local plants that we refer to. People who stop by are usually interested in the same things we are, so the conversations are easy. It’s a humble setup for the Coimbatore District Herbal & Tree Growers Association, and that’s how we like it.
