Junior Assistant

Our office is tucked away in Narayanswamy Nagar, which is part of the Singanallur area in Coimbatore. We are specifically at 33A on Civil Aerodrome Road. Because we are so close to the airport, the sound of planes is something we hear all day long. It’s a busy road with a lot of cars and buses going past. The office itself is quite a small and humble place. We work as Junior Assistant, mostly taking care of the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep things running. There’s a small desk for each of us and a few old cabinets for all the paperwork we have to file. We don’t have any air conditioning, so we rely on the windows and a couple of ceiling fans to stay cool. It can get pretty humid here, especially in the afternoons. We have a small area out front where we can park a few scooters. Most of our neighbors are regular families or other small businesses like ours. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a small one near the gate. It’s a simple, honest environment where we focus on getting our lists checked off. We have our tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be done before we leave. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is steady and we like the people we work with. Every morning we start early to beat the traffic.
