Jayam Engineers

If you come down to Thiruvalluvar Street in Ramakrishna Nagar, you’ll find us at 7-A. We are right there in the Kavundampalaym area. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. Jayam Engineers is just a small outfit. We have a few machines and a lot of tools scattered around the workshop. My uncle started this place and I’ve been working here since I was a kid. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people just walk in or give us a call on the landline. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work for the folks around here. Sometimes we are fixing a broken part, other times we are making something from scratch. The shop can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We don't have a reception area, so you’ll usually find us right at the workbench. We try to be fair with people and just do a decent day's work. Ramakrishna Nagar is a nice neighborhood and we like being part of it. The address is 7-A, Thiruvalluvar Street, just so you know where to head. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a few of us making sure things get built right. There is no mystery to what we do, just hard work and some common sense and a bit of grease on our hands.
