Our office for Ikanekt Research And Development Privatelimited is actually located inside the Kannan Department campus on Trichy Road in Coimbatore. It’s a bit of an unusual spot, being at 1274 Trichy Road, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We are a research and development team, which sounds very serious, but most of the time it’s just us trying to figure out why something isn't working and then fixing it. The office is tucked away, so it’s relatively quiet despite being on such a major road. We spend a lot of our time reading, testing things, and writing up what we found. It’s not the kind of work that has a lot of glamour, but we enjoy the challenge of it. The team is a mix of people who have been here for years and some newer faces. We don't have a big corporate handbook; we just learn how things work by doing them. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for days, and other times everything just clicks. We usually have lunch together and talk about normal things, like our families or what we’re doing over the weekend. The space is filled with books, computer parts, and plenty of notebooks. It’s a bit of a nerd’s paradise, I suppose. We’re just a group of people curious about how things work, doing our best in a corner of Coimbatore. It’s a simple, hardworking life here.
