We are based at 15/6 Basker Illam on 3rd Street in Thiruvalluvar Nagar, which is part of Vadavelli in Coimbatore. It is a nice residential neighborhood. Our office is located in a building that looks like many of the other houses on the street. It makes the place feel a bit more comfortable for the people who come to see us, sort of. We’ve been here for several years now. Every day we deal with a lot of paperwork related to life insurance policies. People from across Coimbatore come to this office to get their questions answered or to submit their documents. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of files. To be honest, the staff here is small, just a few of us doing the daily work. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking the mail. It’s usually quiet on 3rd Street, which is nice for working without too much distraction. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. People just walk in and we help them with whatever they need. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting at once, and it gets a bit crowded in the small room. We usually take a break in the afternoon to have some coffee from the place around the corner. It’s a simple way of working. We focus on the forms and the people. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local office where people can get things sorted.
