Gujarat Stores

We have been running Gujarat Stores at Shop No 1083 for quite some time. We are located in Velan Kudil on Mettupalayam Road, right in the R S Puram area of Coimbatore. If you know where Azhagu Pharmacy is, we are just the next door over. Our shop is a bit of a mix of things. We have a lot of items that people look for like specific snacks, some grains, and different types of pickles that you don't always find in every corner shop. It’s a family-run place, so there’s usually one of us behind the counter from morning until we close at night. The space is a bit narrow, so we’ve stacked the shelves pretty high to fit everything in. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to reach the top jars without a stool. We don’t have a lot of help, just us family members taking turns. The building is older, and you can tell by the floors, but we try to keep it clean. It gets busy during the festival seasons when everyone is looking for ingredients to cook at home. Most of our regulars are families from the nearby streets who have been coming here for years. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything, just keeping the store going like we always have. It’s a lot of work staying open all day, but it’s what we do.
