We started this place because people around Edayarpalayam needed things delivered without a fuss. It is located on Thadagam Road, at number 11/54. Most of our days are spent just packing up brown bags and making sure the rice and dal are clean before they go out. We don't have a big, fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. It is just a small, cluttered space where we keep the inventory on some old wooden shelves. Sometimes the internet is really slow, and we struggle with the online app, but we eventually get the orders sorted. The traffic on Thadagam Road can be a total mess in the evenings, which makes deliveries take longer than they should. We try to keep things as simple as we can. My cousin usually helps with the bike deliveries when it gets busy. It is not a huge operation by any means. We mostly just know the regulars who order every week. We stock what people ask for. If someone wants a specific brand of tea or a certain kind of soap, we try our best to find it. It is a lot of lifting heavy crates and checking those tiny expiry dates on the back of packets. Some days are much quieter than others, especially when it rains hard. We aren't trying to be the biggest store out there. We just want to make sure the neighbor doesn't have to walk too far for their basic groceries in the heat.
