Graphic Designer,Software Tester

Our place is down in Coimbatore, at 9/11 Thottipalayam in the Vellamadai area. It is a bit far from the main city center, which makes it a lot more peaceful. We have a combined setup here because we handle both graphic design and software testing. Half of us are working on layouts and colors, while the others are busy looking for bugs and errors in programs. It is an interesting mix of creative and technical work happening under one roof. The building is simple, surrounded by a bit of greenery which is nice to look at when our eyes get tired from the monitors. We use a lot of different software, so there is always something to update or fix. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team of us. We share our ideas and help each other out when someone gets stuck on a design or a tricky piece of code. The weather here in Coimbatore is usually okay, though it can get humid. We have our routine of starting early and taking a long break in the middle of the day. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of sitting. It’s a practical way to work. We just focus on the projects we have and try to make sure everything looks good and works right before we finish. Every now and then, we deal with power cuts, but that is part of life here.
