We are over here at 11/136D Starline in Azhagappapuram. It is a quiet spot in Kanyakumari. Most of us grew up nearby or moved back to the district after college. We spend our days working on software stuff. It’s not a huge fancy office, just a place where we get together and code. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when it rains, but we make it work. We started this because we wanted to do tech work without moving to a big city like Bangalore. There’s a lot of tea breaks. We usually just talk about what needs to be fixed in the morning and then spend the afternoon trying to make it happen. People drop by sometimes just to ask what we actually do inside. It’s funny explaining software to the elders in the neighborhood. We have some desks, computers, and a few chairs that have seen better days. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fans stay on full blast. We just try to keep things simple. Every day is different, some days we finish early and some days we stay late to finish a project. It’s just us doing what we know how to do here in Kanniyakumari. No big suits or meetings, just regular people working on computers. We like the pace here. It feels like a real community and not some corporate machine.
