Gen India is located right on the Palakkad Main Road in Kuniamuthur. Our address is No: 6/528, over in the B.K Pudur area of Coimbatore. It’s a prime spot because of all the traffic heading towards Kerala. You can’t really miss the road. We’ve been operating out of here for a bit now. The building is simple and we use the space we have to the fullest. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a few days. We deal with various things depending on what’s needed in the local market. It’s a bit of this and a bit of that. The staff here are local folks who know the area well. We don't have a lot of hierarchy. If something needs doing, whoever is closest just grabs a tool or answers the phone. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes we are out on-site and the shop is quiet, and other times it’s packed with people. We don't try to act like a big multinational company. We are just a local business trying to do things right. We spend a lot of time just making sure the day-to-day stuff is handled. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real work. We appreciate the people who stop by and we just keep the work going as best as we can every single day.
