Ganga Hospital

Our building is right on Mettupalayam Road, specifically at number 313 near Saibaba Koil. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know Coimbatore at all. The road outside is usually packed with traffic, especially during the morning and evening rush. We see a lot of people coming through the doors every day. It’s a hospital, so things are often a bit hectic. There’s always someone moving a stretcher or a nurse heading off to a shift. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the lobby looks as long as it’s clean enough for people to sit. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the routine. It’s just a place where medical work happens. We don't have those fancy coffee machines or anything. Sometimes the lift takes a bit too long, and we just tell people to take the stairs if they’re able. Being in the Saibaba Koil area means we get a lot of locals who walk over, but also people traveling from further out along the Mettupalayam stretch. We keep our records in order and try to make sure everyone gets seen. It’s practical work. No one here is trying to be a celebrity doctor. We just put on our uniforms, do the shifts, and go home when the work is finished. It’s just a normal hospital on a busy Coimbatore street.
