Mecdraw Technologies is located over in the G N Mills area of Coimbatore. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the A1 Chips shop. Honestly, the smell of frying chips is a constant distraction for most of us, especially around four in the afternoon when we all get hungry. Our office is on Sai Nagar, No. 1 A. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main road. Inside, it is mostly computers and desks. We do a lot of technical drawing and design work here. It is not the kind of place with a lot of bells and whistles. We have some old chairs that squeak and a tea kettle that has seen better days. The staff is mostly local guys who grew up around here. We spend a lot of time staring at screens, trying to get the measurements exactly right on the blueprints. Sometimes we have to go out to a client’s site, and that is a nice break from the office. Coimbatore is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in. We do not do much marketing or anything like that. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while going for snacks next door. It is a steady pace of work. We handle the drawings, finish the day, and maybe grab a bag of chips on the way home.
