Event Boys

We are based out of Vadavalli in Coimbatore, specifically on Kanuvai Road. It’s a busy area because the bus stand is right there. You can hear the buses coming and going all day long. We go by the name Event Boys. Most of the time we are out on the field setting up for something or the other. Our shop at 2/59 C is where we keep all the poles, curtains, and wires. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we are always in a rush. Coimbatore has a lot of events happening, so there is usually work to do. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a desk and some stools. We work with our hands mostly. It involves a lot of tying knots and climbing ladders. Sometimes we get tired but then a new job comes in. We know the roads around here very well. We use a small van to move our things around the neighborhood. If someone needs help with a small function, they just walk over from the bus stand. We talk to them, see what they need, and give them a price. It’s just regular daily business. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just do the work and go home. Usually, we finish late at night and start early again the next morning. Sometimes we just sit on the steps and watch the traffic for a bit before closing.
