We are based at No 345 on Ooregounder Street. It’s right near Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, specifically in the Maruthapuram area. Being so close to the university gives the place a certain energy. We focus on dance and music, hence the name. It’s a local spot where we get things ready for performances or cultural programs. Most of the people who come to see us are from the surrounding streets or students from the campus. The building isn't anything spectacular, just a functional space for what we do. We have been in the 641046 zip code for a bit now. Sometimes it gets noisy outside with all the university traffic, but that’s just part of being here. We don't really do the whole polished business thing. It's more of a community vibe. People walk in, we talk about what kind of program they are planning, and we see how we can help with the singing or dancing parts. It’s a lot of work but it feels right. Maruthapuram is a quiet enough place most days. We like being tucked away on Ooregounder Street. It gives us space to breathe. If you're walking around near the university, you’ll probably stumble across us. We don't have big signs or anything. Just us doing our thing in our own way. It’s been a good journey so far, just keeping the rhythm going for the local folks who need a bit of music in their lives.
