Ellen Hospital

Ellen Hospital sits at 284 Sathy Road in Gandhipuram, which is a pretty hectic part of town. The road outside is almost always full of buses and bikes making a lot of noise. We have been operating from this building for some time now. It is a bit of an older structure, but it works for what we need. When you walk in, the first thing you see is the reception desk which is usually piled with some files and papers. The staff here are locals who know the Gandhipuram area well. We do not have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff that needs to be there. Most of the people who come to see us are from the neighborhood or travelers passing through Sathy Road. The hallways are a bit narrow and the lighting is just standard tubelights. It feels very much like a normal, everyday hospital. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where the staff usually grabs a quick drink when things get slow. We do not really do much advertising. People just find us because we are right there on the main stretch. It can get a bit crowded in the lobby during the afternoons, but we manage to get through the day. We are just a group of people working together to keep the place running for anyone who walks through the door at 284 Sathy Road.
