We are based in the V.S Complex, specifically at unit B-9. It’s a typical office building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside our space, it’s a different story. There are blueprints spread out over every flat surface and models of houses sitting on the shelves. We don't have a fancy interior designer for our own office; it’s just a place for us to work and think. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps of paper and the desks are a mess of pens and rulers. We aren't the type of architects who wear expensive suits and give big presentations. We’re usually in jeans, looking at a site or trying to figure out a tricky structural problem on the computer. We’ve been working out of this complex for a while, and we’ve seen plenty of other businesses come and go. We like the location because it’s easy for us to get to different parts of town where our projects are located. We don't have a big marketing strategy or a sales team. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing one of our buildings and asking who designed it. It’s a slow and steady way of working, but it suits us just fine. We just take it one project at a time and try to do a decent job for whoever hires us.
