Dotkeys

Dotkeys is located at 168, Amman Kovil Street in Saravanampatty. It’s a busy little street with a lot of shops and houses mixed together. We operate out of a small storefront that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Inside, it's pretty packed with equipment and wires and half-finished projects. We don't have a lot of space for customers to sit, so people usually just drop off what they need and come back later in the afternoon. The light from the street comes through the front window, and we have a small radio that’s always playing local music in the background. Saravanampatty has changed a lot over the years, with more big buildings going up, but our street still feels like the old neighborhood. We know most of the people who walk by every day. Some stop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with a gadget. We try to be helpful when we can. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We work at a steady pace and handle things as they come in. Sometimes the desk gets buried under paperwork and spare parts, but we manage to find what we need eventually. We don’t have a uniform or any corporate rules. We just show up, do the work at 168 Amman Kovil Street, and go home to our families. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We're just regular people.
