C.G. Engineering

C.G. Engineering is situated at No. 7, 3rd Cross Street in Jayaram Nagar. We are in the Ganapathy Nagar Annex section, which can be a little confusing for people who aren't familiar with these side streets. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, which is nice when we are trying to concentrate. The building itself is quite small and we have had to get creative with how we store all our tools and equipment. There are shelves lining every wall and sometimes things spill out onto the floor. We are just a few people working here, trying to keep up with the daily flow of engineering tasks. It isn't a high-tech facility with shiny glass walls. It is a working shop with grease on the floor and scraps of metal in the bins. We wear old clothes because there is no point in trying to stay clean in this environment. Sometimes we have to move the machines around just to make enough space to walk through. We don't have a big corporate structure or complicated rules. If something needs doing, one of us just goes and does it. We handle the paperwork in between the physical work, usually sitting at a small wooden desk that has seen better days. It is a simple life and a simple business, which is how we like it.
