Campus Abroad

You can find us at No: 9 on 2nd Street in Meena Estates. It’s right off Sowripalayam Road here in Coimbatore. Campus Abroad has been helping students from this little office for quite a while now. Basically, kids come in here because they want to go study in another country and don't know where to start. We sit down with them and their parents to look at colleges and all the forms they have to fill out. There is a lot of paperwork involved, especially with the visas. Our desks are usually covered in brochures from different universities. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a bit of a pain if you come during the middle of the day. We try to keep things simple and explain how things work without making it sound too complicated. Sometimes the students are nervous, so we just have a chat and try to calm them down. It’s a lot of talking and emailing people in different time zones. We’ve seen a lot of local kids head off to big cities around the world from right here in Meena Estates. It’s a bit of a process, but we’ve done it enough times to know the shortcuts and the common mistakes. We just keep the door open and wait for the next batch of students to walk in. Sometimes they bring us sweets when they get their visas, which is a nice touch. It makes the long days of filling out forms feel a bit more worth it.
