You can find Bk Fusing Company over on Velampalayam Road in Anupparpalayam. It’s a busy street, and we are right in the middle of all the other textile and garment shops. The machines we use for fusing the fabric can make the room quite hot, so we usually keep the fans running full blast from morning until we lock up at night. There’s always piles of cloth waiting to be worked on, and the smell of the iron and steam is just something you get used to after a week or two. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just a group of us trying to get the work out the door on time. Sometimes the fabric comes in late from the mill, and then we have to stay a bit later to catch up. That’s just part of the job in this industry. Most of the people around here are doing the same kind of work, so we often share a tea or talk about how the market is doing during the breaks. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. It’s a workshop, and it looks like one.
