If you head down Thadagam Road, you’ll find Benny Enterprises right at Site No. 13. We are pretty easy to spot because we’re directly opposite the IOC Bank and right next to Aggerwal School. Being near the school means it gets quite noisy during lunch breaks and when classes let out, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of kids playing. Here at Somayampalayam Post, we just focus on running the business the best way we know how. It’s a family-style setup, really. Most of us have been working together for years. We handle all sorts of supplies and general items that people in the area need. Our warehouse isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is stored. You might see some dust on the shelves, but the products are solid. We don’t have a big marketing team or a social media person. Usually, someone just calls us up or walks in because they heard we have what they’re looking for. We keep the doors open and try to be helpful when someone has a question. It’s a simple life. We close up when the work is finished and head home to our families. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to unload everything by hand. It keeps us busy and out of trouble. Just look for the gate next to the school and you will find us there.
