Beauty Fashions is located at No. 6 Sri Kanchi Kamatchi Nagar. It’s a small operation we’ve got going here. We aren't tucked away in some big mall; we’re right in the residential heart of the area. It makes things feel a bit more personal. We see the same faces walking past every day. The shop is filled with various bits of clothing we've picked out. We don't have a team of buyers; it’s just us choosing what we think looks decent and will sell. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes something sits on the rack longer than we thought it would. That’s just how it goes in this trade. We spend our mornings checking the stock and tidying up. It can get a bit messy when it’s busy, but we try to keep on top of it. People around Sri Kanchi Kamatchi Nagar seem to appreciate having a place nearby where they can just pop in. We don't put on any airs or graces. We talk to people like they're our neighbors, because mostly, they are. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, managing the deliveries and the customers, but we've gotten into a rhythm over the years. We aren't looking to expand into some giant empire. We just like having our shop and seeing people leave with something they’re happy with. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living and we’re fine with that.
