Ambika Button Centre

You can find Ambika Button Centre over on Raja Street at number 767. We have a lot of buttons here. It’s a small shop but it’s packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. We’ve been on Raja Street for quite a long time now. People come in looking for specific colors or sizes and we usually have to dig around a bit to find exactly what they need. It’s not the most organized looking place but we know where everything is. The shelves are a bit old and they creak sometimes. We don't really do much besides sell buttons and tailoring supplies. It’s a simple trade. The street is usually crowded with people shopping for fabric and clothes, so we get a lot of tailors coming in. We don't have a fancy computer system for inventory. We just look in the boxes. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes the light in the back is a bit dim but we manage. If you need a specific button for a shirt or a coat, you just come by and show us. We enjoy the routine of the shop. Every day is pretty much the same and we like it that way. Raja Street is a good place to be if you’re in our line of work. We’re just a local business trying to help people finish their sewing projects. We don't need fancy ads to keep going, just our regular customers who know where we are.
