Bhavani is a special place because of the rivers meeting nearby, and everyone knows us for the textiles and carpets that have been made here for a long time. Our building is simple and sits right in the middle of a residential-meets-industrial neighborhood. We are proud to be part of the 638315 postal area. It isn't a fast-paced place like Chennai, things move a bit slower here which is nice. We mostly deal with the locals and the workers who have lived in this part of Tamil Nadu their whole lives. The office is plain, just some desks and some old fans that squeak a bit. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy lobby areas. It’s just a place where we manage the orders and talk to the people we work with. Some mornings are quite peaceful before the sun gets too high. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news or the weather. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the tradition of our town going as best as we can. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Chokkaramman Nagar community every day.
