Barathi Super Market

Barathi Super Market is right here in Thenampalayam, very close to the Four Road junction. Being near such a busy spot means we see a lot of people passing through. It’s not a huge supermarket like the ones in the big cities, but we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You can find groceries, some snacks, and household plastics too. The aisles are a bit tight because we want to fit in as much as possible for the customers. Sometimes the floor gets a little dusty because of the wind from the main road, but we try to keep it clean. I spend most of my day behind the counter or moving boxes around. We get fresh stock in every few days. It's always a bit of a scramble to get the new items priced and put away before the evening rush starts. People stop by on their way home from work to pick up milk or vegetables. It’s nice seeing the same faces every day. We don't have fancy systems or uniformed staff. It’s just a local shop trying to make things convenient for people in this part of town. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck doesn't show up, but that's just how it goes. If you're near the Four Road area, you'll see our sign. We've been here for a bit now and plan to stay as long as the neighbors keep coming. It's just a regular way to make a living and keep the family going.
