Balu Decorators is located over in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. Our shop is on 80 Feet Road, specifically at No-7/31C in the RN Puram area. If you know where the Amma Unavazagam is, we are pretty much right near there. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows it. We spend our days dealing with a lot of fabric, flowers, and poles for tents. It’s dusty work and our hands are usually stained with something or other. We have been in this spot for a while, and the neighborhood knows us well. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw us working at a neighbor's house. It gets very hectic during the wedding season. We are often up before dawn to start setting up before the sun gets too hot. Coimbatore weather can be tough when you are working outdoors all day. Our office isn't much to look at, just a place to store our ledgers and some samples of what we do. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to pull a tent tight or arrange the chairs so they look decent. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the job done on time so the family isn't worried. That’s how we’ve always operated here in Ramanathapuram. We just take it one event at a time.
