Bagyalakshmi Camphor Works

Bagyalakshmi Camphor Works is tucked away at number 10 in the Vellaiammal Lay Out. It is a quiet residential sort of area, so we try to keep things respectful for the neighbors. We have been here at this address for a good number of years. It’s not a large factory or anything like that, just a local setup where we do our work. The smell of camphor is usually pretty strong around our place, which we have gotten used to, but visitors always notice it right away. We don't have a big staff. It is mostly just a few of us who know the process well. We don't do much in the way of fancy packaging or big advertisements. We just focus on making the camphor and getting it ready. The building is a bit older, and we have had to fix the roof a couple of times, but it stays dry inside. We work regular hours and try to keep a steady pace. It is a simple business. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just like having our own place in the layout where we can work at our own speed. Sometimes the deliveries take up the whole driveway, but we try to move fast so we don't block anyone else on the street. It is just a normal day-to-day life for us here in the layout and we are content.
