Ayush Ayurveda Clinic

We are located on Sathy Road Ganapathy. It is right there on Sathy Road Ganapathy, which is a pretty busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside our windows. The clinic is a straightforward place where we focus on traditional Ayurvedic practices. We have been here for a bit, and the locals in Ganapathy know us well enough by now. The inside of the clinic is very functional. We do not have those fancy waiting rooms you see in the big hospitals in the city. It is just some plain chairs and a table with a few old magazines. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the herbs we use for the different treatments. There is a lot of weighing and measuring involved, which can be quite tedious but it has to be done carefully. The smell of the clinic is something you get used to quickly—it is very earthy and strong. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on Sathy Road gets a bit loud, especially during the evening rush hour. We just keep the doors closed and carry on with our work. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the treatment rooms. We do not really use a lot of technology; we still like writing things down in our big paper ledger. It feels more real that way. It is just a regular local clinic.
