We have been at 33 Kathir Avenue for quite some time now, situated right near Mani’s Theatre on Aandal Street. It’s a pretty lively area in Lakshmipuram, and if you live around Hopes, you’ve probably passed by our door once or twice without noticing the sign. We mostly focus on industrial automation here. It is the kind of work that keeps us busy with wires and small components all day long. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we get the job done. There are usually three or four of us around the main bench trying to figure out why a controller isn't talking to a motor correctly. It gets a bit cluttered with blueprints and spare parts lying on every flat surface. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing or big advertisements. Most people find us because someone they know mentioned we could fix a specific sensor or help with a machine breakdown. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, have some tea from the shop at the corner, and start looking at the technical problems. The parking can be a real headache when there’s a popular movie playing at the theatre, but we’ve learned to manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the hardware works. It’s simple work for people who need things to move right without any extra fuss.
