Alpha Drives

Alpha Drives is based at 449/1 on B P N Palyam Road in Kanuvai. This is a bit of a quieter part of the region, but we stay plenty busy with our mechanical work. We focus on manufacturing power take-offs and other drive components for trucks and heavy machinery. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of metal being machined and the clinking of heavy parts. It is a very physical environment, and you won’t find anyone here wearing a suit and tie. We are mostly in overalls or work shirts because there is a lot of grease and metal shavings involved in what we do. The road outside is used to seeing our delivery trucks coming and going at all hours. We’ve been operating in Kanuvai for a long time, and we have a steady rhythm to our work. We don't have a dedicated sales team that makes cold calls; most of our work comes from people who have used our drives for years and know they are solid. The office part of the building is just a small corner where we handle the bills and orders, while the real action happens out on the floor. It can get pretty loud when the machines are all running at once, but we are used to it by now. We take pride in the fact that we can build things that actually last out in the field. It’s a straightforward, honest way to make a living, and we plan to stay here.
